One more chance in WWE? Wrestling is full of What If’s and that can make for some interesting discussions. You never know where you might see the next big thing but for one reason or another it just doesn’t pan out. That might be the wrestler’s fault or someone else’s entirely, but in one major case from last year, it was a horrible mixture of everyone involved. Now though, he might be getting another shot.
2019 saw the rise and extreme fall of Lars Sullivan, who was called up to the main roster on the night after WrestleMania 35. After a handful of matches, Sullivan went on the injured list with a knee injury and has yet to return to the ring. During his recovery time, Sullivan has gotten in serious trouble over a series of racist and sexist comments he made online before his time with the company. It also turns out that he acted in adult movies which he did not mention to WWE. That was quite the collection of problems, but he might not be done just yet.
Sullivan has recently posted some videos of himself training in the gym. While not confirmed, this could suggest that he is preparing for a return to the ring. Sullivan has not wrestled since the June 10 Monday Night Raw and only wrestled two televised matches since he was called up to the main roster. It is not clear what WWE would be doing with him when he is ready to return.
Sullivan has been getting back in shape. Check out his videos from his Instagram, courtesy of Daily Wrestling News:
Opinion: This is walking a pretty thin line as Sullivan said some things that would end anyone else’s career in a heartbeat. I’m not sure how many people are going to be willing to forgive everything that he said, but WWE seems intent on keeping him around. I can see the potential in him, but if he has this kind of baggage to bring along, I’m really not sure how worth it he really is.
What did you think of Sullivan? Should WWE bring him back? Let us know in the comments below.
