VIDEO: Keep It In The Family: Roman Reigns Wants To Face The Rock At WrestleMania 37

That could be a big one. We are less than sixty days away from WrestleMania 36 and that means speculation is going to start up in a hurry. One of the most popular things for wrestling fans to do is guess what they might be seeing at the biggest show of the year. We already know some of the card for this year’s show, but what about next year’s WrestleMania 37? A big name has something in mind.

There are legends in wrestling and then there are real legends. Some of them are still around today and there are very few of them on the same level as the Rock. Not only is he one of the most successful wrestlers of all time but he has gone on to become the biggest star in Hollywood. With that success comes power and influence, and one of Rock’s relatives wants to see him get back in the ring.

Roman Reigns, the Rock’s cousin, spoke about wanting to face Rock at WrestleMania 37 in SoFi Stadium near Los Angeles, California. Reigns was at the announcement that the stadium would be hosting next year’s event on March 28, 2021 and said that it was the kind of place that could hold such a match. There is no word on the match taking place, or even being discussed.

Opinion: This is something that could work for everyone involved, though I’m not sure how much Rock would go for it. At the end of the day, movie studios are not going to sign off on him wrestling a match as there are just too many risks involved. I can’t imagine that taking place, but it certainly is fun to think about. Maybe one day, and next year certainly would be the right place to make it work.
