She’s a killer addition. The Knockouts Title is one of the most important things in Impact Wrestling, where it has been treated as a big deal for a rather long time. However, it’s currently vacant due to champion Gail Kim retiring. Therefore it’s tournament time and we have a big name coming back in to compete.
As announced this week on “Impact Wrestling”, former champion Madison Rayne will be competing in the tournament. The tournament will feature six Knockouts competing in two triple threat matches with the winners going on to wrestle for the title. Rayne is a five time Knockouts Champion who last wrestled for the promotion in April.
Here’s the official preview for the tournament:
Knockouts Championship Tournament Begins Next Week! | #IMPACTICYMI November 23rd, 2017
Opinion: Another former champion, especially someone with the level of success that Rayne has, is a valuable addition to something like this. Odds are she doesn’t win but it means more to beat her than to beat someone who doesn’t have much of a resume either in this company or anywhere else.
Do you like Rayne being in the tournament? Who do you think will win? Let us know in the comments below.
