The Beast is back but maybe not for long. With the Universal Title match against Roman Reigns at “Wrestlemania XXXIV” coming up in the very near future, it’s a very real possibility that Brock Lesnar won’t be wrestling much longer. There’s a possibility that he’s going to be going back to the UFC for more mixed martial arts and that means his matches should be enjoyed while they still can be. However, he doesn’t have very many of them left and may have had his final house show match on Friday.

It’s a fine way to go out.

Earlier this week, Lesnar successfully defended his Universal Title against Kane and Braun Strowman in Boston, Massachusetts. The match ran about five minutes and saw Lesnar escape a chokeslam attempt from Kane and hit the F5 to retain. Lesnar has wrestled on five house shows this year with four of the matches involving Kane. This match, just like a house show match in New York City two weeks earlier, was a rematch from the “2018 Royal Rumble” where Lesnar retained in the same fashion.

If you don’t remember the Royal Rumble match, or the rest of the show for that matter, check out the results.

Opinion: If Lesnar really is leaving, I could go for something a little more impressive than a five minute match where he beats Kane when Strowman is nowhere to be seen at the end. The match at the “2018 Royal Rumble” wasn’t all that interesting but it’s not out of the ordinary to have rematches like this on the house show circuit. I don’t know if Lesnar is done after “Wrestlemania XXXIV” but if he does stick with WWE, I can’t imagine him wrestling many more matches than he has now. Take that how you will.
