This can be both good and bad, depending on how you look at it.

According to the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer NewsletterWWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair is scheduled to undergo “serious surgery” this summer.

The surgery is scheduled for July 9, 2018 and is attempting to be able to get rid of his colostomy bag. While it is a significant surgery, he feels that he needs to have in done in order to be able to return to serious training.

It had been previously reported that Flair had some major health scares last year, and this surgery has been needed since that time.

In one of the more touching moments in recent memory, “The Nature Boy” surprised his daughter, Charlotte, after she won the “Smackdown Live” Women’s Championship in November of last year. You can see that clip below:

We will continue to provide updates as they become available to us.

Editor’s Opinion:

This can be looked at both ways. While it’s always scary to hear that someone is getting surgery, especially someone at Flair’s age, it also means that he is getting the help that he needs. “The Nature Boy” is a fighter, and he’ll get through this as well!
