Video: AJ Styles and Shinsuke Nakamura in “Smackdown” Dark Match

Let’s hit the streets. Dark matches are one of those rare treats that only the fans actually in attendance can see. More often than not they’re in a tag match, and that was the case this week as well. After this week’s episodes of “Smackdown Live” and “205 Live” ended, the Toronto fans got a rather interesting match.

According to Wrestlinginc.com, tonight’s dark match main event saw United States Champion AJ Styles team up with Shinsuke Nakamura to face Kevin Owens and Baron Corbin in a Toronto street fight. Nakamura and Styles won when Nakamura hit Owens with the Kinshasa.

Opinion: I love stuff like this as there’s so much stuff you’ll never get to see otherwise. Sure they might do this kind of a match at a lot of other TV tapings, but that’s just it: this is something for the live fans, not the masses. Just getting to see Styles and Nakamura as a team is cool enough so it’s nice that the fans got to see something special.
