He who has the gold has a spot on the list. There are a lot of things that matter in wrestling but championships are always near the top. Almost all wrestling feuds are based around titles in one way or another and they’ll always mean a lot in professional wrestling. In recent years titles have become a lot more common though with all kinds of championships being added to the available options. So who has the most of them?

WWE has released a new episode of List This looking at 5 Superstars with the Most Championships. The list mainly consists of more modern wrestlers, mainly due to the amount of titles being added in recent years. Of the five wrestlers listed, none of them are full time anymore though three of them are still semi-active. The Hardcore Title is specifically not included in this list.

There’s a lot of gold in there.

Opinion: There’s something to be said about a great title win and the more you think about it, the more impressive Edge’s accomplishments are. He’s not just on top of the list but he’s far ahead of second place. On top of that he won Money In The Bank and a Royal Rumble for a bonus. That’s the kind of record that is never going to be approached and it’s all the more amazing when you think about it.
