Update on Samoa Joe Coming to the Main Roster

Prepare to increase the violence. Just in case there wasn’t enough going on at the moment with all the names jumping into the Royal Rumble, there’s also the annually fun guessing game of trying to figure out who will be debuting in the match. While there are some names that come up almost every year, one in particular seems to be on a lot of wish lists this time around. As it turns out, there might be something to that.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter by way of Wrestlinginc.com, Samoa Joe could be in line for a major match at “Wrestlemania XXXIII” and could potentially debut on the main roster in the Royal Rumble. It should be noted that this is NOT confirmed but if Samoa Joe does debut soon, the report goes on to say that he would be in line for a “monster push”. Samoa Joe wrestled a dark match at the recent “NXT” tapings but doesn’t seem to be appearing on “NXT” TV before the upcoming “Royal Rumble 2017”.

Depending on what card you believe at this point (and it’s not like you don’t have a bunch of options to choose from), Samoa Joe really could be a good fit on that card. If we get things like John Cena vs. Undertaker, what could someone like say, AJ Styles have to do? It’s not like Styles vs. Samoa Joe would be hard to book but I’ll take anything interesting at this point.
