Maybe next year. As you’ve probably heard, one of the big matches rumored for “Wrestlemania XXXIII” was Undertaker vs. John Cena in a match that fans have been wanting to see for a very long time. These are two of the biggest names of all time and seeing them both as legends facing off on the grandest stage of them all would have been a major selling point of the show. You might notice I said “would have been.”

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter by way of 411mania.com, the once rumored match is now off as Vince McMahon has changed his mind on having the match. Also rumored but not in the cards at this point was Undertaker vs. Braun Strowman. At the moment, it’s not clear what either of these two would be doing.

Blast it I was looking forward to that. But hey, I’m sure we’ll have Triple H vs. Seth Rollins in a big, story driven match that is sure to capture the imaginations of dozens of fans who can’t wait to see Triple H give some young up and comer a big rub. I mean, it worked so well for Roman Reigns last year right? Undertaker vs. Cena is a legitimate dream match and I understand the idea of not doing it for the sake of having two huge matches, but they’re really running out of time to do it with Undertaker being 52 by the time we reach this year’s Wrestlemania.
