It’s no secret that TNA has had a rough 2016. Lawsuits seemed to suggest an uncertain future, and budget constraints forced them to delay Total Nonstop Deletion until December 15. However, in spite of the odds, TNA presses onward with more Impact Wrestling.

The most recent announcement from PW Insider says that the next live TNA pay-per-view will take place on Friday, January 6, 2017. This show will be broadcast from Universal Studio in Orlando, Florida, where they’ll be recording other material from January 5 to January 12. They’ll also be back again for taping sometime in mid-March. So far, nothing is known about these upcoming matches.

Though TNA has been struggling for some time now, viewership was up for Total Nonstop Deletion last week. “Broken” Matt Hardy has been hotter than ever, and his feud with “Brother Nero” Jeff Hardy created some serious hype. Even still, this doesn’t guarantee that the numbers TNA pulled will become the new norm.

What do you think? Will the Hardy family storyline be what helps keep TNA afloat, or will they finally run out of funds after their March tapings and be forced to throw in the towel? They’ve persevered in the face of doubt and turmoil before, so anything is possible! Let us know your opinion in the comments below or on our Facebook page.
