What a weird choice. Wrestling is a strange place at times as you never know when you might see someone for the last time. Sometimes a wrestler might be let go from their contract and that could end their career in a hurry. There are only so many spots in any wrestling company and that can cause some problems as far as wrestlers staying around. Then there are some confusing moments where it might be somewhere in the middle, which is what seems to be the case here.
We are in a weird era in wrestling where the worlds of kayfabe and reality have merged to a certain degree. With the internet being such a great tool for wrestlers to get storylines out there, there are now far more ways to tell a story than before. One of these ways is to convince fans that what they are seeing is real, even when that may not be the truth. We may be seeing that at the moment, but it still isn’t exactly clear.
On Saturday night, Taynara Conti appeared at an NXT live event in Fort Pierce, Florida, wearing a shirt that said “released”. This is noteworthy as Conti had been said to have walked out of the Performance Center over a pay dispute, with her locker being cleaned out as a result. It is not clear what has happened with Conti, but as of now she is still with NXT and performing.

Conti has been on NXT TV before. Check out some of her moments:
Opinion: This is one of those confusing angles which might be a complete work or might be more of a combination of reality and angle. That is the kind of thing that can make things more interesting and it’s not like Conti had anything else going on. I can go with either of them and it could be interesting to see what is going on in the future, assuming anything actually is going on in the first place.
What do you think is going on? Will this be a big deal for Conti? Let us know in the comments below.
