That’s a weird one. Wrestling can be a very strange place and that has been the case since wrestling began. You never know what kind of odd things you are going to see because there is always going to be something odd that you might not have expected. That’s one of the things that makes wrestling work, but sometimes you hear something that doesn’t make sense and might not be a great idea.

There are a lot of decisions in wrestling that take place behind the scenes and sometimes they don’t make a ton of sense. That’s the kind of thing that makes your head spin every now and then, with WWE doing this quite often. While they may be the biggest wrestling company in the world, they do some things that might contradict some of their other ideas. That may be the case again.

According to Wrestling Observer Live, talent who train at the WWE Performance Center are being told to “lay it in”, as in work a harder and stiffer style. It is not clear how long this policy has been in place but it was put in place before AEW Dynamite debuted on October 2, meaning the edict has been in place for at least several months. There is no word on why this has become the new philosophy.

There are some hard hitters in WWE. Check out some of them in action:

Opinion: I’m not sure how much sense this makes and this may seem to coincide with some of the injuries that have been taking place in WWE over the last few months. Why would you want your wrestlers who are in a fake fight to hurt each other in the ring? They have to be wrestling very often and this is the kind of thing that can shorten the amount of time that they could be in the ring. It doesn’t make a lot of sense and it seems to be causing some problems.

Do you like this idea? Is it causing the injuries in WWE? Let us know in the comments below.
