His days are numbered. Wrestling is the kind of sport where things can change at the drop of a hat. Sometimes it might be a change in storyline, sometimes it might be an injury and sometimes it might be something that the wrestler causes to themselves. That can be the case when someone gets suspended due to the WWE Wellness Policy and it may cause some issues.

Andrade has been on a roll over the last few months and his work has gotten him the United States Title. That is the kind of success that can elevate a wrestler to the next level, but then things came crashing down when Andrade was suspended. The suspension put him on the sidelines for thirty days but he still had the United States Title. So what does that mean for the belt?

According to Sports Illustrated, Andrade’s suspension will lead to him dropping the United States Title soon upon his return. Andrade’s suspension will end on February 27 and his first match back will be a non-title match at Super ShowDown. At the moment there is no word on when he will defend the title next or who he will be defending it against. Andrade won the title on December 26, 2019 at a live event in New York City.

Andrade has been a solid champion. Check out some of his time with the title:

Opinion: Really, what else are you supposed to do with something like this? If Andrade doesn’t lose the title, you could argue that he got a thirty day vacation and then came back like very little changed. WWE has to do something to punish Andrade, who did something that has caused a lot of problems everywhere. This feels like the right punishment and while it can change all kinds of things, it had to be done.

Do you agree with the punishment? Who should take the title from Andrade? Let us know in the comments below.
