What a weird combination. We are coming up on Survivor Series, which is going to be quite the night with all of the usual Monday night Raw vs. SmackDown matches in the Battle For Brand Supremacy. That’s enough to carry a show, but this year’s edition is going to be something different with the thirty year celebration of the Undertaker. WWE has been going out of the way to celebrate Undertaker’s career, and now they have something unique planned.
One of the things that might be overlooked about Undertaker is the amount of wrestlers who he has influenced over the years. Undertaker has been around for decades, during which several wrestlers have come and gone, both from the WWE and from the wrestling industry as a whole. Several of them are still around, and now two surprising names are paying tribute to Undertaker.
WWE has sent out a tweet featuring Jeff Hardy and Alexa Bliss, with the former dressed as Undertaker, advertising some sort of a special look at Undertaker taking place this Thursday. The hashtags also include “Undertaker30”, meaning that this will be part of the Thirty Years Of The Dead Man” tribute that WWE has been presenting for Undertaker. Hardy and Undertaker had a pair of matches on Monday Night Raw in 2002, though Bliss has never had any major interaction with him.

One out of two isn’t bad. Check out Undertaker vs. Hardy:
Opinion: I’m not sure what this is going to be but it is fascinating to see Undertaker receiving this kind of attention. Thirty years in wrestling alone is impressive but to do it in the same company and at such a high level throughout is even more impressive. This could be a little bit of anything on Thursday and that makes things interesting, which is one of the best things that you can have.
