When the big place comes calling. WWE has a long list of talented interviewers who are mainly tasked with asking questions in backstage segments on all of their television shows. These can be used to advance angles as well as fill in time and few interviewers are currently better than Charly Caruso. With great talent comes other suitors though and Caruso has caught someone’s eye.
As announced on WWE.com, Caruso will be splitting her time between WWE and ESPN. Caruso will be presenting SportsCenter updates and hosting the SportsCenter Snapchat show while still working for WWE as part of its Monday Night Raw broadcasting team. She has said that this does not mean that she is leaving WWE, which she still considers to be her home. Caruso debuted for main roster debut on the August 2, 2016 episode of SmackDown Live.
Picture her on ESPN.
Opinion: This isn’t the most surprising thing in the world. Caruso is a very talented, well spoken broadcaster and it makes sense to see her get a job with the biggest sports network in the country. WWE has a ton of interviewers in the first place so having her get a bigger job isn’t the biggest blow in the world to them. While she’s just working part time for ESPN, it wouldn’t surprise me to see her move there full time in the future.
What do you think of Caruso? Will she be with ESPN full time in the future? Let us know in the comments below.
