Three for the price of none. With less than five days to go before WrestleMania, there is almost nothing left to set up for the show. Of course that didn’t stop WWE from adding another match to the show this week on SmackDown Live. The other thing that they took care of this week was the announcement of which matches would take place on Sunday’s Kickoff Show.

This week on SmackDown Live and 205 Live, it was announced that the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal, the WrestleMania Women’s Battle Royal and the Cruiserweight Title match between champion Buddy Murphy and challenger Tony Nese will be the Kickoff Show matches. This is the second year in a row that these three matches will take place on the Kickoff Show, the fourth time for the Andre the Giant Battle Royal, the second time for the Women’s Battle Royal (the only editions of the match) and the third straight year for the Cruiserweight Title (the only editions since it was reestablished).

Here’s a double preview of the battle royals. Check out the eighteen person tag from SmackDown Live:

Opinion: As redundant as it is to have the same three matches two years in a row, was there anything else that could really go there? Maybe the SmackDown Tag Team Titles instead of the Andre the Giant Battle Royal, but other than that it’s not like they had much to pick from. At least those matches won’t be on the main show for the sake of letting there be some air. I could even go for a fourth if there’s a chance, just to cut down the main show’s length just a bit.

Which of these matches will be best? Who wins the three of them? Let us know in the comments below.
