Time for the blue people. Money in the Bank season is upon us and that means it’s time for everyone to try as hard as they can to qualify for the matches. That creates a variety of options for people to get into the match, especially with both the men and the women getting eight spots each in their ladder match. The eight spots will be divided evenly between Monday Night Raw and SmackDown Live. Three names qualified for the matches on Monday Night Raw and that means it’s time for SmackDown Live to catch up.

One qualifier had something to say.

Ember Moon will continue to rise: Raw, May 7, 2018

As announced this week on Monday Night Raw, there will be three Money in the Bank qualifying matches this week on SmackDown Live. The matches will include:

Daniel Bryan vs. Rusev
The Miz vs. Jeff Hardy (non-title)
Charlotte vs. Peyton Royce

At the moment there are no other matches announced. These names will join Braun Strowman, Finn Balor and Ember Moon who qualified this week on Monday Night Raw. There is no word when the other matches will be held or if any others will be added to tomorrow night’s show.

Opinion: These are as logical of a set of matches as you can get. With just four spots for each match on SmackDown Live, it should be interesting to see where the four choices each go because there are going to be several names left out. I hope they don’t bring in another ladder match per show as there’s only so much you can do before the show is completely oversaturated. These spots should go for the top names who deserve them, not just throwing people out there for the sake of throwing people out there.
