And now, it’s time for Money in the Bank. A lot of things went down at Backlash on Sunday night. While there were no title changes at the pay per view, we’re moving towards the next pay per view, which will see at least two people win Money in the Bank briefcases which will change the way WWE goes for a very long time to come. There is some other stuff being set up as well and that means we could probably use an idea of what WWE has in store.

WWE.com has released its official preview for this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw. The preview features fewer stories than usual with only three instead of the usual five or six. The major focus this week is on the Money in the Bank qualifying matches with the Money in the Bank pay per view taking place in just under six weeks. The matches will be taking place on both Monday Night Raw and SmackDown Live with both men and women having their own matches. There is no word on if the matches will be co-branded. Here are the stories featured in the preview.

Opinion: I’m really not a fan of Money in the Bank time as WWE seems to have very little idea of how to build towards the match outside of having the people involved in the match in singles matches over and over until the pay per view actually gets there. With some luck we might actually get a tag match here or there, but for the most part we’re in for some dull shows over the next several weeks. It’s just how Money in the Bank seasons goes and WWE must be happy with it because that’s all we seem to get.
