Even the young ones get hurt. About fifteen months ago, the WWE United Kingdom wrestlers burst onto the scene and took WWE by storm. The wrestlers were new, young and amazingly talented, offering some of the best matches anyone had seen in a long time. The biggest surprise was nineteen year old Tyler Bate, who became the inaugural United Kingdom Champion. Since then Bate has been appearing on and off for the WWE, but that might not be happening for a little while.

Bate has even made some main roster appearances.

Tyler Bate vs. TJP: WWE 205 Live, Jan. 30, 2018

According to Ringsidenews.com, Bate was injured during a match for Progress Wrestling over the weekend. Bate was competing in day two of the Super Strong Style Tournament against Kassius Ohno and injured his shoulder. Ohno won the match via pinfall and Bate was pulled from his scheduled match against Zach Gibson the next day. At the moment there is no word on when Bate will be cleared to return to the ring or when he’ll be making his next appearance for WWE.

Opinion: You never know what’s going to happen when you get in the ring and this is always a possibility. Hopefully Bate is fine and will only be out of the ring for a short time as anyone being injured, even for a short amount of time, is a bad thing. Bate is a special talent who, at nineteen and twenty years old, wrestles like he’s been doing this for about ten years now. If he can keep improving, the sky really is the limit for him. Hopefully the shoulder heals up soon.

What do you think of Bate? Will he be on the main roster one day? Let us know in the comments below.
