Three Major Returns Set For Monday Night Raw

Welcome back. There are a lot of wrestlers under the WWE umbrella and not all of them are around every single week. With things going as they are at the moment, you can’t quite expect everyone to be around for every show. That causes some issues with wondering where wrestlers are from week to week, but a group of big stars are about to make their return.

While not exactly up to its normal standards, this year’s WrestleMania was one of the most unique of all time. While there were no fans in attendance, there were some major stars in place and some top level matches on both nights of the event. Some of those names have not been around since WrestleMania in early April, but now things are about to change in an important way.

Three major returns were announced for next week’s Monday Night Raw. This will include the returns of Becky Lynch, Edge and Randy Orton. Neither Edge nor Orton have appeared since WrestleMania, while Lynch appeared on the April 13 Monday Night Raw, though she has not wrestled since WrestleMania. There is no word on what any of the three of them will be doing.

Opinion: I wonder how much of this has to do with Monday Night’s Raw’s sagging viewership and ratings. At the end of the day, fans care about star power and that is something that WWE has been lacking as of late. Edge is a special guest star, Orton is someone who only appears occasionally, and Lynch is one of the biggest stars in the company. That should help things a lot, but I’d be more worried if they don’t.
