There’s A Reason For That. Why Did Dolph Ziggler Get The WWE Title Shot At Super ShowDown?

There’s your explanation. Things are in a state of flux in WWE as things keep changing more and more every single week. WWE is trying to find a way to get through all of their problems, which includes bringing some talent back in after we haven’t seen them for a little while. That took place this week on SmackDown Live and now we know why that was the case.

This week on SmackDown Live, Dolph Ziggler returned and attacked WWE Champion Kofi Kingston before setting up a title match against him at Super ShowDown. The surprise return took place because Kingston’s original opponent for Super ShowDown, Kevin Owens, told WWE that he did not want to work the show in Saudi Arabia. There is no word on whether Ziggler will be staying after the event.

Opinion: Whether or not you think highly of Ziggler, the logic behind the move makes sense. Owens not wanting to go is understandable and given the insane amount of talent WWE has on the roster, it’s a great solution to getting rid of the problem. Ziggler is going to put on a good performance in the match as he and Kingston have had some great matches in the past.
