They’re dropping like flies. We’re coming up on Super ShowDown, the third of WWE’s controversial series of events in Saudi Arabia. After various events related to the country took place last year, some wrestlers are not exactly thrilled with working the events, to the point of not actually taking part in the shows. Last night saw one name turn the upcoming event down and now even more are doing the same.

According to Postwrestling.com, several other WWE names will not be taking part in Super ShowDown. These names include Daniel Bryan, Aleister Black and Sami Zayn, none of whom have been mentioned in relation to the card. Zayn has yet to perform on any of the shows due to his Syrian heritage as Saudi Arabia and Syria have ongoing issues. Bryan refused to work the Crown Jewel event last year and Black has yet to re-debut on the main roster after the Superstar Shakeup.

This is what Saudi Arabia is missing. Check out Black’s main roster debut:

Opinion: This is the kind of thing you have to expect and not something that is really surprising. Bryan and Zayn were expected and Black is similar to Owens in that it would be a bit much for WWE to force him to go. These shows aren’t the most popular in the world in the first place so making someone work them is not going to go well for WWE, which they seem to understand.

Which of these is the biggest loss? Will they be punished for not working the show? Let us know in the comments below.
