Someone has to stick around. The wrestling world is changing in a hurry at the moment with a lot of wrestlers jumping from one company to another. This may not be the easiest thing to keep track of but it can certainly make things a lot more interesting. While some people are moving around, there are others who are staying in one place and that is the situation again.
WWE is in an interesting place at the moment as they have more wrestlers than they know what to do with (literally in some cases), even though they have all kinds of places for those wrestlers to go. The company is also interested in keeping a lot of its talents around though, and that means signing them to new deals. That is the case with another name that you’ll be seeing for the foreseeable future.
In a new video posted to YouTube, Mandy Rose has announced the signing of a new five year contract with WWE. The contract is mentioned in the video, showing Rose working out with trainer Bradley Martin and Sonya Deville. There is no word on when the contract was signed. Rose is currently wrestling on SmackDown and has been on the main roster since November 2017.
It’s quite the workout. Check out the announcement and Rose in the ring:
Opinion: WWE is smart in signing wrestlers up for five year contracts. With so many other places available for the wrestlers to go, keeping them signed up to WWE for now, often during the primes of their careers, is a smart move. Not only does it give WWE more talent but it keeps that talent away from the other companies. That’s going to help WWE in the long run and if the talent gets a nice check and a big stage to perform on, so be it.
How bright of a future does Rose have? Will she ever be Women’s Champion? Let us know in the comments below.
