Call it a combination of bad and interesting. There are a lot of changes taking place in wrestling at the moment and a lot of those have to do with wrestlers moving from one company to another. One of the biggest reasons this is taking place is AEW, which is now offering a new mainstream company wrestlers several wrestlers can showcase themselves on a big stage. That seemed to be the case with a certain name, but maybe not so fast.

Earlier this month, Impact Wrestling presented its Hard To Kill pay per view, featuring a match between Rob Van Dam and Brian Cage. The match never got started though as Cage was attacked before the bell ring, with Van Dam beating him down. After the show, Cage was rumored to be making the jump to AEW, but it turns out that things aren’t as simple as they seem.

Cage has released a video addressing rumors regarding his future career plans. Cage makes it clear that he is currently not signed to any company as his contract with Impact Wrestling has expired and while he has been offered contracts from several other companies, he has not signed with anyone. He has also injured his bicep though and is forced to undergo surgery, which could put him on the shelf for up to six months. His surgery is scheduled for this coming Monday.

He can explain it himself. Check out how Cage covered everything:

Opinion: I’m not sure where Cage is going to sign but he is going to be someone that a lot of companies are interested in signing. Someone with his look, charisma, skill set and experience is going to be worth having around for a lot of promotions. Hopefully he winds up somewhere worthwhile as he has shown what he can do on a big enough stage so far and a bigger stage would be a good next step.

Where should Cage go? Where do you expect him to go? Let us know in the comments below.
