Special Stipulation Planned For Impact Knockouts Title Match *SPOILERS*

It’s a good thing to add to a show. As simple as it may seem, a wrestling program is mostly comprised of wrestling matches. There will always be a lot of other things going on with the show, but the matches themselves are what the shows are built around. They can come in a variety of forms, but some of them are going to be longer than others. We should be in for another one of those in the near future.

While the WWE Women’s Revolution has changed the way women’s wrestling works, it is far from the first strong push from a big wrestling promotion. Nearly ten years prior, Impact Wrestling had pushed women’s wrestling as an important part of their show and have treated is well almost ever since. That will be the case again with a special kind of title match.

According to Fightful Select, the upcoming rematch between Knockouts Champion Deonna Purrazzo and Jordynne Grace will be a thirty minute Iron Woman match, which will take place at the Emergence event. It is not clear which night the match will take place on, as Emergence is scheduled to air on both August 18 and August 25. The match has already been taped, and the women had less than a day to put it together.

Opinion: It seems like a bit of a fast turnaround for a thirty minute match but maybe they can put something together to make it work out. Purrazzo is one of the most technically sound women in the world and Grace knows how to work the power game rather well. That could make for a well told story and if their Slammiversary match is any indication, they should be just fine.
