Double your matches, double your pain. With less than a month to go before “Hell in a Cell 2017”, we already have the first match taking place inside the namesake structure. However, in addition to Shane McMahon vs. Kevin Owens, it seems that we’re almost ready for the second match to be announced.
According to Ryan Satin’s Pro Wrestling Sheet podcast by way of Wrestlinginc.com, there are plans to have the new Smackdown Tag Team Champions the New Day defending against former champions the Usos inside the Cell. The teams have feuded for months now with the title changing hands multiple times. New Day beat the Usos earlier this week in a street fight to regain the titles.
The Usos vs. The New Day - SmackDown Tag Team Title Street Fight: SmackDown LIVE, Sept. 12, 2017
Opinion: This isn’t the biggest surprise in the world as they’ve been setting this match up for weeks now. It makes sense to have the big blowoff match after weeks and months of smaller matches getting us here. That’s how the Cell is supposed to work and it makes for a much more logical conclusion.
Who do you think leaves with the titles? Who do you want to win? Let us know in the comments below.
