So you’re on the no list. Last Sunday, WWE held its first ever women’s Money in the Bank ladder match and the reception wasn’t the strongest. The match, consisting of five women, ended when Carmella’s lackey James Ellsworth climbed the ladder and pulled down the briefcase, which he tossed to her for the win. At least one WWE legend is really not pleased with it.

On the latest edition of his “X-Pac 1-2-360” podcast, Sean Waltman offered his take on the match and he wasn’t pleased. While not going into specifics on his issues with the match, he talked about how horrible the match was for the Women’s Revolution and laid the blame at the feet of Vince McMahon. Here are his comments:

“It felt like they took a big giant crap on it, to be honest with you. And here’s the thing, we can blame anything or anyone and point fingers. But, when it comes to these things; it’s Vince McMahon, that’s where the buck stops. That’s just the way it is.”

Opinion: The first thing I, and many others it seems, thought the ending completely missed the point. After months of talking about how great the women’s division has been, the first women’s Money in the Bank match ends when a man interfered. Having Ellsworth involved in the finish would have worked but not so much with having him BE the finish.

Do you agree with Waltman? How would you have ended the match? Let us know in the comments below.
