TNA is continuing with their attempt at modernizing Impact Wrestling as a viable contender in the market. Once thought to be a serious contender to WWE over a decade ago, the bran has fallen into deep decline recently, with there even being rumors of a WWE buyout last year.

However, the new management of the company is making a push to stay relevant, and it could possibly pay off. On top of announcing a new broadcasting partner in the United Kingdom–on Anthem–they also boasted a brand new logo.

This logo notably leaves of the TNA name–something that the management team has been looking to phase out for some time. This will allow Impact Wrestling to distance itself from Total Nonstop Action–a branding which does not have a solid reputation at this point in the wrestling industry. While Impact has been synonymous with TNA for forever, this separation could do well for the weekly show.

However, there does leave a lingering question about the company in its ability to retain talent. The Hardys have most notably left the company this week, and even more could leave later. While this allows some new stars to shine on Impact, not having established veterans could leave fans disinterested.
