Welcome back. There are a lot of wrestlers under the WWE umbrella and there are only so many places that they all can go. That is made even worse now that the Coronavirus has slowed everything down even more. WWE only has so many places to put people and some of those people aren’t going to be in the ring. That was the case again this week on Monday Night Raw.
Some wrestlers have one of the most important things that you can have in wrestling: the gift of gab. Every now and then you find wrestlers who are perfectly capable of talking about almost anything you bring up and if they can do it about wrestling, that’s even better. One such name was back on television this week, doing something that he can do as well as almost anyone in wrestling.
This week on Monday Night Raw, Samoa Joe made his return to the company after missing time due to a suspension and a concussion. Rather than wrestling though, Samoa Joe was part of the commentary team, sitting in along with Tom Phillips and Byron Saxton. This is Samoa Joe’s second commentary stint after he served in the role during November and December 2019. There is no word on if Samoa Joe is medically cleared to return to the ring.
Samoa Joe has done a few things in WWE. Check out some of his moments:
Opinion: This is quite the good news as Samoa Joe was great during his short time on commentary. He has credibility and the ability to talk as well as anyone else with a recent WWE career. Let him see what he can do if he isn’t healthy and maybe even figure out a career once his wrestling days are over. If nothing else he can get back in the ring when he’s healthy and that’s not a bad thing.
