That’s another honor. Earlier this year at WrestleMania 35, the WWE Women’s Revolution reached its apex with a women’s match main eventing the biggest show of the year for the first time ever. It was hard to believe that such a thing could happen, but they had done just about everything else they had tried to do. Now though, it seems that one of the biggest stars can add something else to her resume.
According to Fox Sports Asia, Becky Lynch is rumored to be the cover star for the upcoming WWE 2K20 video game. Lynch, currently the Monday Night Raw and SmackDown Women’s Champion, would be the first woman to appear as the solo cover star in the game series. The document reporting the news also says that the cover will be unveiled on June 24 and the game would be released on August 7. It should be noted that Fox Sports says there is a chance the document could be false and the details should only be taken as a rumor.
Lynch has been busy since winning the title. Check out her most recent match:
Opinion: I don’t know if this is going to be the case or not but if it is, good for Lynch. It’s also the decision that makes the most sense as Lynch has been one of the biggest stars in the company this year, meaning she should get this kind of attention. The women’s match main eventing WrestleMania was a genuinely historic moment and something that deserves a long series of accolades.
