Well maybe not. TNA seems to be in the market for a new TV home after a year and a half on PopTV. The company is going through a major rebranding and a new place to air their TV show would be a big help in making that rebranding a bigger success. However, one network seems to be out of the running.

We previously reported that Spike TV was a potential new home for “Impact Wrestling”. According to Brian Fritz of the Sporting News, that rumor has already been squashed though. Fritz Tweeted out that Spike TV has issued a statement that Scott Fishman, an executive for Spike TV, was there for personal reasons and is NOT negotiating any deals. “Impact Wrestling” is scheduled to be on PopTV until the end of 2017. They will however be on Spike TV in the UK.

Opinion: Well so much for that. It was a nice idea while it lasted but Spike TV seems to already be out of the running. I’m not sure where “Impact Wrestling” is going to be next year but there are a lot of changes going forward and it should be interesting to see how things shake out.
