Rumor Killer On AJ Styles’ Contract Status

We’re not quite there yet. Over the course of the last few weeks, one of the biggest questions in WWE has been the contract status of AJ Styles. With so many wrestlers teasing jumping from one company to another, Styles was a major question mark as he’s someone that any wrestling company would want. It’s still confusing to figure out, but we now have one extra detail.

Earlier today, some rumors began to circulate that Styles had signed a new contract of undetermined length with WWE. However, Styles has refuted the rumor on Twitter, saying that he knew nothing about it. This of course does not mean that Styles is leaving WWE as he may be lying or he may still sign in the future. For now, we’re still waiting to see what the future holds.

Opinion: I really can’t imagine Styles signing with anyone but WWE, though stranger things have certainly happened before. Styles is certainly closer to the end of his career than the beginning, but at the same time there’s only so much that is likely to lure him away from WWE. He can likely make the most money there and have the most security, but maybe he wants something else. It’s a case where time will tell, which means more on this later.
