They need the help. We are coming up on WrestleMania 36 and there are a lot of stories either already in motion or already set for the show. With so many major matches and angles taking place, it would make sense to do something that is going to get the fans’ interest at a higher level. That may involve bringing in some additional help, which WWE already has in house.
This week on SmackDown, one of the biggest matches was announced for WrestleMania 36 as Universal Champion Goldberg issued a challenge, with Roman Reigns answering. The match was made official later in the night with Reigns not even having to win a #1 contenders match. That means that things are an open slate between now and April 5 and someone interesting is helping set the match up.
According to the WrestleVotes Twitter account, Paul Heyman is helping put together the Reigns vs. Goldberg story. It is not clear how Heyman will be helping on it or who is officially in charge of the whole angle. Heyman is being brought in as he has strong relationships with both wrestlers. Currently the Executive Director of Monday Night Raw, Heyman has been assisting with various other storylines in a creative capacity.
Although the match is on the SmackDown side of the card, Paul Heyman will have some influence on the build & storyline for the Goldberg vs Roman Reigns Universal Title matchup at WrestleMania. Heyman shares very strong relationships with both, especially Goldberg.

You can feel the heat. Check out how the match was set up:
Opinion: I’m not sure how the match is going to go but it’s going to be interesting to see what Heyman can do for the setup. There are a lot of ways to go with the story and all that it needs to end with is two big guys hitting each other really hard. Heyman can pick how he wants to get there and it should be a lot of fun to see which path he chooses for them on their road to WrestleMania.
Is Heyman a good choice for this match? How do you see the story going? Let us know in the comments below.
