It can happen to anyone. Wrestling is a physical sport and that means you are going to see everyone putting their bodies on the line every time they get in the ring. What they do is not easy by any stretch and it is always possible that someone could get hurt. In addition to being in the ring so frequently, wrestlers have to stay in shape, which can be quite the difficulty in its own right. This time around, the training was more dangerous than the wrestling itself.
Since its inception, AEW has prided itself on its tag team division. The company has a huge selection of tag teams, with some of the most talented wrestlers around today. As a result they can mix and match their teams in a variety of ways, but there are a few who stand out above the rest. However, one of them might not be around for a bit due to something going wrong outside of the ring.
According to Bodyslam.net, Pento Zl Zero M injured his leg a few weeks ago in training. This was the reason for the injury angle which took place during this week’s AEW Dynamite, when he was part of a six man tag with his brother Rey Fenix and Lance Archer against Eddie Kingston, Butcher and the Blade. There is no word on how long he will be out of action due to the injury.
He’s really good when he’s healthy. Check out Penta El Zero M in the ring:
Opinion: That’s the kind of thing you have to expect every so often, though it’s almost strange to imagine that the injury took place in a more controlled environment like training compared to the wild matches he uses takes part in. The Lucha Bros can be a heck of a tag team when they are healthy so hopefully this doesn’t take long. If nothing else, Fenix can do rather well on his own, as he has done before.
