They would be a get. This has been a long series of people leaving WWE this year and it makes for some interesting situations. First and foremost, the question becomes where all of these people are supposed to go. There are only so many wrestling companies hiring at the moment and that is going to be the case for the time being. While not confirmed, we might have a hint of where some of them are going.
Last week’s long series of releases was a big deal, but they weren’t the only people leaving the company recently. The Revival beat them to the punch earlier in the month after a long period of both sides not being willing to budge. Now the question becomes where they go from here. While AEW has been heavily rumored, the team might have another stop on the way there.
The NWA has sent out a tweet asking which teams fans would like to see participate in the 2020 Crockett Cup tag team tournament. Cash Wheeler, formerly Dash Wilder of the Revival, replied with the name FTR, the Revival’s new team name. There is no word on if the team will be in the tournament, though it is possible as their releases did not come with a no compete clause. The tournament has been postponed indefinitely due to the spread of the Coronavirus.

The team is great and so is the tournament. Check out a little bit of both of them:

Opinion: This is where things can get interesting as you never know where you might see the released wrestlers pop up. The Revival seem tailor made for the Crockett Cup and it would be cool to see them participate. Maybe they will and maybe they won’t, but it would certainly be something worth seeing. Hopefully they get a place to showcase themselves, as it never caught on in full in WWE.
Do you think the Revival will be in the tournament? Who else would you like to see involved? Let us know in the comments below.
