Well that was quick. WWE is the biggest wrestling company in the world and they have been around for a very long time. As a result, it should not be surprising that so many wrestlers have come in and out of the company over the years. Some of these wrestlers are going to make a bigger impact than others and it can be fun to see someone make a return. That was the case not so long ago, but that time is already over.
The Royal Rumble is one of the biggest nights of WWE’s year, mainly because of the show’s namesake matches. The Royal Rumbles themselves include thirty wrestlers in one match, which is more than you are going to see than at any other point of the year. This can include various surprises and returns, some of which will stick around with the company. One of them is now gone again though.
In a new interview with Whatta Day, Carlito revealed that his return to the WWE has already ended. Carlito returned to WWE at the Royal Rumble in January and wrestled on Monday Night Raw the following night but has not been seen since. Carlito was said to be on a trial run with the company but had not signed a contract. There is no word on why Carlito and WWE parted ways or if they will work together again in the future.
There is a lot to this. Check out the full interview:
Opinion: I’m not sure what happened here but it is a little surprising. Carlito looked great in the Royal Rumble and was fine the following night on Monday Night Raw. While he looked physically great, he is in his 40s though and was not exactly the biggest star in the world in the first place. Hopefully Carlito gets to do whatever he wants now and maybe he can be back in WWE in the future.
