That would explain it. There are a lot of wrestlers on the WWE roster and it can mean a lot when one of them is missing in action. It can also be rather noticeable, as if someone you see on a regular basis goes away for a bit, fans will be wondering where they are. That was the case earlier this year, and now we know why one wrestler’s time away made another one miss time as well.

This week on Monday Night Raw, the Street Profits wrestled their first match in over two months, defeating Alpha Academy. The match was also Montez Ford’s return to the ring after a calf injury that kept him out of action. According to Wrestling Observer Radio, Ford’s partner Angelo Dawkins was pulled from television due to Ford’s injury despite being healthy, as WWE did not want one of them appearing without the other.

Opinion: That is the kind of explanation that does make some sense, but at the same time, it is kind of a shame to see Dawkins missing when he was reaching a new level on his own. The Street Profits are a heck of a team but both of them are very good in singles competition. I could go for seeing more of them together or apart, but what matters most is Ford being healthy again.
