That’s never good to see. Injuries are one of the few constants in all of wrestling as anyone can get hurt at any time. They can take someone out of action for any length of time and that can be devastating to any momentum that a wrestler has. Some injuries are a lot worse than others and now it appears likely that an AEW star will be out of action for a good while after a serious one.

El Idolo has made an impact in AEW. Check out some of his time in the company:
Opinion: This explains a bit as El Idolo has been out of action for such a long time now. If El Idol isn’t going to be around for the time being, it makes sense for him to take care of a long term injury. El Idolo has done well enough in AEW so far and maybe all he needs is a fresh start to really take off. The talent is there, and if AEW can figure out how to do it, they could have a huge star on their hand.
