One more sticking around. There are a lot of people in WWE to put it mildly. With so many rosters and promotions, the company needs a lot of wrestlers to fill them out. At the same time, they need some non-wrestlers to help balance things out a little bit. This might be a manager or just someone who appears in backstage segments, but WWE needs to keep them around. They are doing just that with one of their more prominent names.
Lana is one of the more prominent non-wrestlers in all of WWE, having been around since her husband Rusev debuted on the main roster in 2014. Since then Lana has dabbled in wrestling but has spent most of her career as a valet, mainly for Rusev. She has since been split with him on screen and has taken up with Bobby Lashley in a long running storyline. That story may be going on even longer.
As announced on her Twitter, Lana has signed a new multi-million dollar deal with WWE, which will likely keep her around WWE for several years to come. According to Prowrestlingsheet.com, the contract is for five years. WWE has recently been offering five year deals in an effort to keep their talents in the company, possibly as a means of keeping them away from AEW.

Lana has been different as of late. Check out some of her more recent moments:
Opinion: Lana is a case where WWE would obviously want to have her in the fold for a long time to come, if nothing else due to her incredible charisma. I know her story has not been the strongest or most well received as of late, but at the same time, having her around so much makes it clear that WWE thinks something of her. It would certainly seem to be enough to keep her away from any other company.
