Seth Rollins was recently interviewed by 107.5 WGCI in Chicago to promote Survivor Series. Rollins will be leading Team Raw against Team SmackDown and Team NXT. Rollins’ group includes Drew McIntyre, Kevin Owens, Randy Orton, and Ricochet, while Reigns’ group includes Braun Strowman, Mustafa Ali, King Corbin, and Shorty G. Team NXT has yet to be announced.

During the Q&A, Rollins was asked whether he will be turning heel soon.

“What’s a heel,” said Rollins. “Look, man. I’m the same guy I’ve always been. You wanna love me? Love me. I love you. If you wanna hate me, hate me. Please. Just make some noise out there, one way or the other. I don’t care. In every market, in every town, every city that I’ve gone to, they’re making noise one way or another. So, I’m doing something right.”

Rollins has been widely appreciated from the fans due to his impressive in-ring ability. Last year, during his Intercontinental Championship run, he was undoubtedly one of the most popular wrestlers in WWE. However, the fans slowly started to turn on Rollins this year, as he became Universal Champion.

When Rollins won the Royal Rumble, fans were still in support of him. This led to a WrestleMania 35 win against Brock Lesnar. After losing the title at Extreme Rules he regained the title at SummerSlam. However, the fan reaction started to slowly turn, due to the fans wanting someone else to have a title opportunity. This severely escalated during his feud with “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt.

At Hell in a Cell, Rollins received a chorus of boos due to The Fiend being popular with the fans. Since then, Rollins has received a strong display of mixed reactions, very similar to how Roman Reigns received for the past several years before just recently getting mostly cheered again by the fans.
