It Would Put Him In Rare Company. Sheamus Has A Goal In Mind For His WWE Return (And It Would Be Very Rare).

He knows what he wants. When he debuted back in 2009, Sheamus might not have seemed like much. He certainly looked different, but his incredibly pale skin became a signature and his career took off in a hurry as he won the WWE Championship only a few months after appearing. Now he has won almost everything in WWE, but there is one thing left for him to do and he wants to get it done.

Sheamus recently appeared on E&C’s Pod Of Awesomeness where he talked about wanting to win the Intercontinental Title. It is the one title that he has not won in WWE and Sheamus wants to win it to join Edge as the Ultimate Grand Slam Champion. In addition to their titles, Sheamus, Brock Lesnar and Edge are the only two wrestlers in history to win Money In The Bank, the King of the Ring and the Royal Rumble. Sheamus is currently on the shelf with neck and back injuries, which could lead to the end of his career.

Opinion: I mean, why not? Sheamus doesn’t likely have much time left in the ring so seeing him get the one thing he hasn’t achieved is an interesting idea. Not many people can claim the number of titles that he has so it’s not like him winning the title, or even chasing it, would be a stretch. If he can get back in the ring, why not try it and see if it can work?
