It’s a heck of a rub. There are very few personalities in wrestling who stand out like Paul Heyman. He’s done a little bit of everything in wrestling with varying degrees of success, but the things he’s done well are very influential, with all kinds of talent being enhanced due to their association with Heyman. While he hasn’t had many different clients as of late, his praise still has some influence.
Heyman recently offered praise to Lio Rush, saying on Twitter that Rush is a great young talent who is going to get better and better. The discussion began after Rush mentioned that his client Bobby Lashley could defeat Brock Lesnar and would be able to defeat Finn Balor with far less difficulty than Lesnar had in his Universal Title defense against Balor at Sunday’s Royal Rumble.

I like @WWE @itsLioRush. He has a huge future. Tremendous talent, super young, only going to get better and better and better. But if you're going to call out @BrockLesnar on behalf of your client, at least spell your own client's nickname correctly. IT'S ON YOUR SHIRT, LIO! https://t.co/09ySLdA7Lm

This is what Rush sees in Lashley. Check out Lashley wrecking Balor on Monday Night Raw:
Opinion: Rush isn’t the biggest guy in the world but the way he moves around in the ring is second to none. The ability to stop on a dime like he can is very impressive and no one else can do something like that. Getting an endorsement from someone as influential as Heyman is a rare treat and hopefully Rush gets somewhere out of it, as he’s already getting more TV time and attention at the moment.
