That’s a long time. Injuries are one of the worst things that can happen to any wrestler as they can happen at any time. What seems to be a simple move can result in someone being out of action for a good while. That can derail a lot of plans in a hurry and after that all there is to do is wait. Unfortunately that is the case again, as a prominent WWE Superstar is going to be gone for a long time.

Last week on SmackDown, Charlotte suffered a knee injury during her match against Asuka, though the extent of the damage was not clear. This week on SmackDown, commentary announced that Charlotte would be out of action for about nine months recovering. If this is the case, Charlotte will likely be gone until after Summerslam 2024. There is no word on when Charlotte will be undergoing surgery.

Opinion: That’s terrible to hear as you never want someone to be on the shelf for any amount of time, especially a year. If nothing else, that is going to shake up the SmackDown women’s division in a big way as there is a top spot available. I could see someone being moved from either Monday Night Raw or NXT to help fill in the gap, but it might take some time to make everything work.
