Hopefully it isn’t too bad. There are some very talented wrestlers on the AEW roster but no matter how good they are, every single one of them can be slowed down by an injury. It can happen to any wrestler at any time and that can change plans in a hurry. Unfortunately that seems to be the case again after this week, but it might not be as bad as it could be this time around.
AEW Women’s Champion Britt Baker has revealed that she broke her wrist during her successful title defense against Nyla Rose during this week’s Fyter Fest Night Two. Baker did not mention when the injury took place. There is no word on if Baker will miss any time as a result. Baker has suffered a string of injuries during her time in AEW, including a concussion in 2019 and a severe leg injury in 2020.
With @paigevanzant …And oh yeah, I retained the title on Wednesday night at #aewdynamite with a broken wrist. Not taking any time off either. #AndStill pic.twitter.com/YQVC37Woie

AEW has a star on their hands. Check out what Baker can do:
Opinion: I’m not sure what causes Baker to have so many injuries but it could simply be a case of bad luck. Hopefully she can get back in the ring sooner rather than later, as this is the kind of injury that could keep her out of action for a pretty long while. Baker is one of the most talented stars AEW has and the sooner she can be back in the ring and healthy, the better it is for everyone.
What do you think of Baker? What can she do while she heals up? Let us know in the comments below.
