Back in the fold? There are all kinds of wrestlers in the industry today but only a few of them have families involved with the sport. These second generation wrestlers are often some of the better stars around, as they have a background in wrestling and know what to expect when they come in. WWE has long since highlighted them, and now another one might be on his way in.

Last month at Backlash, Carlito made a surprise return to the company, helping Bad Bunny defeat Damian Priest in a street fight. Now, according to Wrestling Observer Radio, Carlito has backed out of an independent show on July 15, saying he has signed with WWE. Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful is reporting that Carlito has backed out of multiple upcoming bookings. There is no confirmation that he has signed with WWE at the moment.

Opinion: I can see bringing Carlito back, as he is a veteran who is still in great shape and could do some things for WWE. He helps appeal to the Hispanic audience and brings in some nostalgia as well. If the two sides can come to terms then he should be in for a nice run with the company, who has seemed interested in bringing him back multiple times in the past.
