There’s a lot going on. With Crown Jewel coming up, it’s becoming clear that there isn’t a lot announced for the card. We have the big tag match and a pair of title matches, but the World Cup of Wrestling hasn’t actually been announced yet. That leaves a lot of spots available to be filled in, but as of Tuesday, one such spot has been taken up with a title match.
As announced on WWE.com, the New Day will be receiving their rematch for the SmackDown Tag Team Titles against the Bar at Crown Jewel. This is a rematch from last week’s SmackDown 1000 when the Bar regained the titles with the help of Big Show. There is still no word on why Big Show helped them become champions, but Big Show continued to side with them this week on SmackDown in a singles match.
Here’s how that singles match went.
Opinion: This works as well as anything else as it’s not like there’s much else going on with the show. It’s not going to come off as anything huge, but at least it’s something that fans are going to get behind because the match will be pretty high quality. These teams work well together and have for a long time, plus there’s always a chance that we could see a title change out of the thing.
Who do you think leaves with the titles? If New Day doesn’t take the titles, who will? Let us know in the comments below.
