Shifting into the fast lane. With just over a month to go before “Wrestlemania XXXIV”, we’re also less than a week away from “Fastlane 2018”. The pay per view has been holding up the build for “Wrestlemania” but there are still big stories to get through before we can get to New Orleans.

WWE.com has released its official preview for this week’s episode of “Smackdown Live”. The show will serve as the go home episode for “Fastlane 2018” and will focus on the build to Sunday’s Six Pack Challenge. The other matches set for Sunday’s pay per view will receive attention as well. Here are the stories listed in the preview:

Randy Orton battles Jinder Mahal before his first-ever U.S. Title Match at WWE Fastlane

Randy Orton clears the air with Bobby Roode: SmackDown LIVE, Feb. 27, 2018

WWE Champion AJ Styles faces Dolph Ziggler ahead of Six-Pack Challenge

Dolph Ziggler vs. Kevin Owens: SmackDown LIVE, Feb. 20, 2018

Charlotte Flair and Ruby Riott come face to face before SmackDown Women’s Title Match

Riott wants to bring Flair's "perfect little life" to the ground: SmackDown Exclusive, Feb. 27, 2018

Will Becky Lynch and Carmella come to blows?

Becky Lynch challenges Carmella to a match next week: SmackDown Exclusive, Feb. 27, 2018

Opinion: Hopefully this lets us get to the “Wrestlemania” build once and for all. It’s about a month away and “Smackdown Live” doesn’t have a single match set. If nothing else we might be able to have Shinsuke Nakamura presented on the show for more than a few minutes a week for a change. They’re behind schedule and once this show is over we can get somewhere more important.
