WWE.com has released its official preview for this week’s Monday Night Raw. As has been the case in the last few weeks, a large chunk of the show is dedicated to Money in the Bank. In addition though, there will also be some focus on Seth Rollins defending the Intercontinental Title against Jinder Mahal and the continuation of Bobby Lashley vs. Sami Zayn. Here are the featured stories:
The Kingslayer defends his title against The Modern Day Maharaja
Seven Superstars get a Last Chance to be “Money”
How will Nia Jax respond to Ronda Rousey’s threat?
Is Braun Strowman destined to become Mr. Money in the Bank?
What payback will Bobby Lashley have in store for Sami Zayn?
Opinion: I’m not sure how much longer they can get out of the Money in the Bank stuff but if the other options are Jinder Mahal and the Sami Zayn/Bobby Lashley stuff, bring on the ladders and briefcases. It’s pretty clear that there’s one big idea at the moment and that’s not good, especially when it’s being shared by both shows. The TV isn’t good and the audiences have been getting lower, which means something needs to change. However, I don’t see WWE doing that anytime soon.
