This is what can happen. The Coronavirus pandemic has been going on for over a year now and while things are getting a bit better, there are still a lot of problems that need to be addressed. The chance of getting sick is still certainly out there and can change a situation at a moment’s notice. Unfortunately that might be the case with one of the bigger wrestling series going today.

Despite the Coronavirus outbreak, WWE has managed to keep its television going. Things have bot been exactly the same throughout the last year but the shows have been airing and for the most part, you might not notice the difference. This has been the case for Monday Night Raw, SmackDown and NXT, but now one of them might behaving another problem.

According to Fightful Select, this week’s edition of NXT will be undergoing a number of changes. While not confirmed, there is a chance that this is due to a new Coronavirus outbreak. Various wrestlers are currently quarantined and it is not clear who will be available for this week’s show. The outbreak may have begun at a required meeting at the Performance Center last Thursday. There is no word on if any wrestlers have been officially diagnosed with the Coronavirus.

Last week’s NXT was already going to be hard to top. Check out what they did on their previous episode:

Finn Bálor vs. Adam Cole – NXT Championship: WWE NXT, March 10, 2021

Kai & González vs. Blackheart & Moon – NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship: WWE NXT, March 10, 2021

Io Shirai vs. Toni Storm – NXT Women’s Championship: WWE NXT, March 10, 2021

Opinion: This is a rather sobering story as there is always the chance of such an outbreak. While things are getting better, there is still a possibility that something like this could happen. I’m not sure what this is going to mean for NXT going forward but it is a bad sign that things are being adjusted so heavily in a hurry. This week’s NXT could be interesting, but that is not a good thing this time.
