Now we know when. NXT’s series of Takeover events have become universally revered as some of the best and most exciting wrestling events of modern, if not all, times. The events are great on their worst days and all time classics on their best. The most recent Takeover took place over WrestleMania weekend and now we know a few details about the followup event.
A new video posted on WWE’s YouTube channel has announced that the next Takeover will take place on Saturday June 1. No location was announced for the event, though ticketing information will be made public on Monday. Opinion: I’m not sure about this as less than two months is quite the turnaround between Takeovers. The show is all but a guaranteed success, but it might be nice to have another week or two to get things ready.
